At Hadrian Park Primary School we utilise iPads daily to enhance our teaching and learning offer. Currently in school we have a set of iPads for each Key Stage and alongside this some children chose to bring in their own iPad using our Bring Your Own Device scheme. This scheme has so far been a great success and many children are now bringing in their own iPad to use in class. We also offer an iPad leasing scheme where our families are invited to purchase an iPad from us for a monthly fee. The iPads we lease are always the most up to date model and belong to the family once the balance is paid off.  

The children use their iPads to complete activities on a range of apps including Seesaw and Times Table Rock Stars. As a school we are aiming to develop the children’s creativity and remove barriers to learning through the use of the iPads across the curriculum. Whilst this does not replace pen and paper, this enhances their experiences in class and allows children to develop their independent learning.
