You're eligible for free school meals if you receive any of the following benefits:

• Income Support
• Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
• Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
• Universal Credit with an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400
• Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
• Pension Credit Guarantee
• Child Tax Credit without Working Tax Credit & an annual taxable income below £16,190 (as assessed by HM Revenue and Customs)
• Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit and an annual taxable income below £16,190

Paid School Meals

We aim to provide healthy, well-balanced menus that pupils will enjoy.  School meals are cooked on the premises and served in the dining hall.  The menus provide excellent value for money and meet the nutritional requirements of our children.  Menus are available to be shared with your child and our school cook is always willing to discuss any dietary requirements.

All meals are freshly prepared in school each morning and meet the rigorous school food guidelines set out by the Government.

Your child can enjoy:

• a choice of freshly cooked main courses
• fresh salad or vegetables
• bread
• a tasty pudding

Our school meals are designed to give your child exactly the right kind of foods to keep them going until teatime, including lots of energy-giving carbohydrates and at least two of their five a day fruit and vegetables.

School meals are free for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 through the Universal Free Meals system. For all other year groups, the price of school meals is currently £2.30.  Please register to use the online ordering and payment system at https://appetite.hutchisoncatering.co.uk

We operate a three week school menu with a choice of four main courses and a selection of puddings prepared every day by the school’s catering team. In addition, children also have a choice of salads to choose from.
