Hadrian's Hedgehogs

Following on from a recent parental survey, where we asked parents what childcare needs they had, we are delighted to announce that in September 2023, we are launching “Hadrian’s Hedgehogs”. This is going to be our new wraparound childcare club. 

Hadrian’s Hedgehogs will run Breakfast Club from 7.30am – 8.45am every morning. 

Hadrian’s Hedgehogs will run Wraparound childcare from 3.15pm – 5.45pm (Monday-Thursday) and 3.15pm- 5.15pm on Fridays. 

COSTS: 

Breakfast Club: 7.30am- 8.45am             = £5.50 per session (price includes Breakfast) 

Wraparound Childcare Club Session 1: 3.15pm – 4.45pm         = £6.00 per session 

Wraparound Childcare Club Session 2: 3.15pm – 5.45pm        = £8.00 per session (until 5.15pm on Fridays) 

There will be a late pick up fee applied to any children who are collected after the session end time. 

Both our Hadrian’s Hedgehogs (Breakfast Club and Wraparound Childcare club) sessions are going to be set up on School Gateway and you pay for the session, as you book it.

Once the session reaches the maximum capacity of bookings, parents will be able to see on School Gateway that the session is FULL and it will no longer allow you to book. Places are allocated electronically on the App, on a first come, first serve basis and unfortunately if the maximum capacity is reached, parents must make alternate arrangements.  

We are thrilled to be starting this new programme and excited to be able to cater for your childcare needs. 

Hadrian’s Hedgehogs will run on a temporary basis initially for the first academic year, in order for us to evaluate its success.
