Being the Headteacher of Hadrian Park Primary School gives me great pleasure and makes me immensely proud.  I am fully committed to the community of Hadrian Park Primary School and strive to ensure that the school serves our local children and their families well, providing bespoke support and guidance.

While it is my priority that the education your child receives here with us will enable them to achieve their full academic potential and progress confidently into the next phase of their education whilst developing into confident individuals who are life long learners.  It is also part of my vision that all experiences are both positive and inspiring, that the children are aware of the endless possibilities that await them and that they are nurtured in order to develop within them, a confidence to embrace whatever comes their way - living our mantra of 'what we don't know now, we just don't know yet'. Underpinning the above, is my relentless commitment to ensuring that the children of Hadrian Park Primary School possess the values that enable them to live well, leading the way within society and to be able to deal effectively with the challenges that the modern world presents.

At Hadrian Park Primary School, each classroom is led by caring, passionate and talented professionals who care deeply about the wellbeing and growth of every child in their care.  We all recognise children as unique individuals with specific talents and needs, helping every pupil learn successfully is the most important thing we do.  We prioritise our time, energy and resources to ensure our curriculum and the environment for learning is exceptional - we strive for excellence. All staff work tirelessly to provide a varied and engaging curriculum and a positive school experience. You’ll find our classrooms to be hives of activity and full of creativity and learning, making Hadrian Park a special place indeed for all children.  Our educational mission is that every child will be a reader by the age of 7, and if they are not, we will do everything within our power to help them catch up, so that they can access our broad and balanced curriculum, designed in such a way that they learn more and remember more. 

In order to further promote the importance of reading within our School, all staff share which books they currently read and have read with our children.  Our shared story time is a well loved feature within our timetable, of which all children thoroughly enjoy.  In order for you to enjoy some much needed reading time with your child(ren) please see below for 2 highly recommended links to books which are year group specific and enjoy the time to escape in a book with your loved ones.
