Credit Union

Please see below information regarding our children’s savings accounts with the Credit Union. This a fantastic way to teach your children about the importance of saving or to assist you in saving for upcoming trips or events. We know it is important that we teach our children the value of saving, whether it is for a special item or just for a rainy day, and that it is important that we do this from an early age. With this in mind we wanted to remind you that we currently run a savings scheme in partnership with North Tyneside Employees Credit Union.

North Tyneside Employees Credit Union Ltd, is a non-political, non-profit making financial co-operative.  It is registered under the Industrial and Provident societies Act 1965 and the Credit Union Act 1979.  They are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation           Authority.  It provides an easy and secure way to save.

The children can bring their money in—any day.  

· Children receive a savings card so that they know their current balance (this card should be sent to school each week along with their savings money).

· An annual dividend, equal to that paid to adult credit union members will be added to their account.  If you are interested in our saving scheme for your child, application forms are available at the office, or again, if you would like more information please ask at the office.

It really is unbelievable how much your saving balance could amount to by putting away a small amount each week.  This is also a great way of saving up in preparation for our School big annual trips that are offered throughout School e.g. Robinwood, High Borrans, Skiing etc
